28 May 2024: One more game to be played
One game was played tonight and despite a valiant effort by Alan Miles, Bill Miller eventually gained a victory.
We have one match left this season and it has gone down to that last match. Alan is to play Dave Bogle.
If Dave wins or draws, he will win the Championship. If Alan wins then we have a three-way tie between Dave, Bill and John Moore. Good luck to both players.
The table as it stands is:

05 Apr 2024: John Moore is champion
The fifth round of the Borders Individual Championship (Minor section) saw two key results: John Moore defeated Gala's Keith Robinson; and Alistair Gray and Logan Symons drew their game. Alistair had been the only player who could catch John Moore, and so John is the new champion. Congratulations to the Selkirk Captain!

04 Apr 2024: Curry night at the Taste of Spice
Our annual curry night was held on Thursday 04 April in the Taste of Spice, and (as always) the food and drink were first class. A thoroughly enjoyable evening in one of the best restaurants in the area.
The Taste of Spice is in Market Place, Selkirk, and offers a wide selection of Indian and other food.
